September 13-15, MWPK Shifterfest

Three DDR drivers competed in two classes at the Midwest Pro Kart Challenge Shifterfest at New Castle Raceway. 

Colin takes 2nd place on Saturday in Open Shifter

Alex Conlin ran in open shifter with his Birel powered by a DDR ICC.  Eric Batt ran in S2 with his DR Kart and 2001 DDR Spec Moto, while his bother Evan borrowed a CRG with a 1999 DDR Spec Moto from Team Arbs (thanks Chris!).

In Saturday competition Eric Batt dominated until late in the main when his rear bumper failed and he was black flagged.  Evan Batt went on to win S2.  Conlin placed 2nd in open shifter.

Sunday was a challenging day for Eric Batt, but Evan stepped up to win S2 and to win overall besting all the KZ open shifters as well!

July 19-21, Pro Tour SKUSA Summer Nationals

Kiwi Daniel Bray ended the day as quick driver in S1, marking a solid debut for the new Aluminos chassis

Grand Junction Motor Speedway was the venue this year.  S1 veteran Daniel Bray, switched to DDR power, and dominated the Saturday event and won the final with DDR 2001 power! Bray followed up on Sunday with another podium finish.  S1 Spring Nationals rookie star Sabre Cook saw limited competition due to a serious illness, but was able to salvage some season points.

Thanks to local S2 DDR drivers Tase Flores and Jack Bradley for competing in S2, and California S4 DDR driver PP Mastro for making the trip and competing in S4.

June 30, Goodland Grand Prix

Goodland is the site of one of the most popular street races in the Midwest.  The shifter class was again sanctioned by the Great Lakes Pro Series.  Alex Conlin won with DDR ICC power. 

April 13-14, Pro Tour SKUSA Spring Nationals

S1 rookie Sabre Cook made a great debut in her first S1 event, and first event with a 2001 Honda Spec Moto from Darcy DeCoste Racing.  Cook was consistently among the fastest in this elite class.

Saturday, Cook battled up front with Leesman and Wimsett for an impressive podium result.  Sunday presented some challenges with a DNF in Heat 1.  But Cook progressed through the field for another third place podium finish. 

Thanks to all the DDR customers that made the trip to Arizona...including Daniel Bray, PP Mastro, and Matias Podboj.

Other news from Spring Nationals is that RPM Motorsports from Bellview, TX announced they will switch their operation to DDR Power!

April 5, CRG-USA Announces DDR as Official Team Engines

Darcy DeCoste Racing Engines will be to engine supplier for CRG-USA for 2013.

 “We are happy to be associated with Darcy and his engine program for the 2013 season,” stated CRG-USA owner Stacey Cook. “His experience and knowledge with the Honda engines is second to none, and we are trilled to be able to offer his engine program to our CRG-USA customers on the Pro Tour. March 1-2, PCK Race 2 at Willow Springs

ProKart Willow Springs in S1 Matias Pobodj, Kimball Williams Racing finished 5th. In S4 Brad Dhesi finished 2nd.

Feb 1-2, PCK Race 1 at Buttonwillow

ProKart Buttonwillow, in S1 class Ryon Beachner, 2Wild Karting, finished 3rd.  In S2 Vivek Tandon, Kimball Williams Racing, finished 2nd. In S4 Brad Dhesi finished 4th.
